Daisy

2000 – 2026

Daisy was a once-in-a-lifetime horse. She was her owner, Dawn’s, heart horse.

In the six short years that Dawn was blessed to own Daisy, she made all of her horse girl dreams come true. Daisy was equal parts spicy, sweet, steady, brave, and stubborn. She loved attention, being groomed, treats of all kinds, and splashing in the water at Lake Arthur. Dawn and Daisy trailered to local parks and enjoyed amazing rides together.

In her last year of Daisy’s life, there was nothing that made Dawn happier than seeing her grazing peacefully in her pasture at Bramblewood Farm. Spending time together made all of life’s problems and stresses seem insignificant.

We’ll never know what Daisy’s first 20-something years of life were like. But, Dawn would like to think that she was able to give Daisy the best last six years of life. Someday they will see each other again.

Rest easy, sweet Day. You were deeply loved — and you will be deeply missed.
